Minimalism, in a nutshell means living simply, by making sure that everything you own and use is put to its maximum purpose. Sustainable living goes hand in hand with minimalism. With a minimalist lifestyle, you changing your priorities and you are being more mindful of the brands you support. The most common misconceptions about minimalist: not buying anything new, houses with white empty spaces, and having only 100 items. But in reality, it’s so much different. The burden of consumption is no longer that scary for them. Minimalists go with their day without comparing their material possessions (clothes, cars, technology etc.) They are focusing on things that really matter. Zero-waste grocery stores

For people who are tired of big supermarkets and who care about the planet, zero waste grocery stores are ideal. The idea is very simple: store sells food without packaging in an effort to reduce the tool of plastic on the environment.  Shopping becomes more personal and more meaningful. You start to value quality of products not look of their package.  You bring your own containers and you fill everything up by yourself. Goods are stored in clear self-service bins or dispensers. Shops offer all sorts of staples by weight, from raisins to flour to olive oil to shampoo. There’s not a piece of plastic wrap in sight. And most importantly food is much healthier then food offered by discount shops. Goods are usually organic, bio and they are coming from sustainable brands. It often ends up so much cheaper because you’re not paying for the packaging (advertising + branding that goes with it). This idea spread across the world. Even in Warsaw, here are some examples: Deko Zakupy (Wło...

Would you like to live forever?

To me living long and eternal life on Earth would be a quite terrifying experience. The thought about losing everybody that I love in front of my eyes and being part of the world that is for now very much unknown it’s very much unpleasing. While deciding about the answer to this question, we need to remember what the future really holds for the next generations. Global warming, wars, discrimination, wrongly chosen politics and so on. I’m not sure if anybody would like to live in the world like this. Filled with constant fear and pain. Of course, maybe I’m exaggerating and people in the future will learn from our mistakes and create a better world.   But what if not?

Are Polish people polite and kind (compared to other Europeans)?

I honestly believe that Polish people are polite and kind. Despite deep rooted stereotypes. Poles in comparison to other Europeans are equally good. We are well mannered and sociable. But I think we have different approach to ourselves and to foreigners. We like to invite and welcome people to Poland. But when it comes to interactions between us, we sometimes act bitter. It’s just the matter of our culture. But I know from the experience that people from abroad usually say only nice things about Poles. We are known for our generosity and kindness. And it’s crucial to keep that opinion true.
