In the 21st century for many people it’s important to safe our planet from the dangerous consequences of global warming. One of the ways to ensure it is to change our way of living. That’s when it comes the idea of sustainability. 20 years ago, scientists from Sweden developed definition of sustainability with 4 basic principles:
REDUCE
- “carbon footprint”
- dependance on heavy metals
- dependance on synthetic chemicals
- destruction of nature
By following these 4 rules you will make a major change. Moreover, sustainability most commonly means: maintaining the world we live in. By taking this lifestyle we are encourage to minimize use of Earth’s resources and reduce the damage of human and environmental interactions. Sustainable living aims to achieve an environmental balance. It expects us to return to the earth whatever we take from it. But we have to remember that our actions have a big impact on the environment and we need to protect it for the future generations.
